Welcome to the website of the conference on public-private partnership. The conference will be held on 15th- 16th of January 2009 at PJ Hilton, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The conference is organized by the Faculty of Economics and Administration, University of Malaya.

The Conference attempts to address critical issues and challenges pertaining to Public - Private Partnerships by address critical issues involving public-private partnerships in development by discussing various sub- themes dealing with such partmerships. It hopes to bring together scholars, government officers, private sector participants and civil society representatives in developing various propositions on the best way to attain optimal Public – Private Partnership and address issues of allocative efficiencies, transparency, and accountability. Main speakers will include some renowned scholars in the various sub-themes of public-private partnerships. There will be plenary and parallel sessions dealing with the various sub-themes.

Scholars or public and privates officials involved in public-private partnership are invited to join the conference as participants or paper presenters.
